A Systematic Review on the Caregivers Burden of Stroke Patients

Abstract
Objective : To investigate the caregiver burden of stroke caregiver caregivers. The purpose of this study is to provide educational and useful data for carers of stroke patients and to suggest a study on the burden of caregivers of stroke carers.

Method : This study examined 17 caregiver burdens of Korean stroke caregiver contributors over the past decade from 2007 to 2017 through KERISS.

Result : The number of researchers who have contributed to stroke caregivers has increased since 2013, and there were more than one year of papers. Caregiver Burden Inventory (CBI) was the most common evaluation tool for stroke patients. Dependency burden was in the order of time, dependent dependency, financial, and self-development.

Conclusion : It is necessary to carry out researches on intervention programs and educational effects that can alleviate burden as well as search for burden of caring provider 's burden. More systematic programs and institutional support for the relief burden should be needed.
